Jessie Brown MA
THERAPIST
Hi there! I recently completed my Master's in Clinical Mental Health from Messiah University and I have 5 years of advocacy experience working with adults, families, and youth. Most recently I worked in school-based counseling with grades pre-k through 12th.
I especially enjoy connecting with teens and young adults as they navigate the difficulties of those transitional life stages. Regardless of age or life stage, I am passionate about coming alongside my clients as they seek out relational and personal insight and develop skills for meaningful connection, healing, and growth.
I take a collaborative integrative approach to counseling, rooted in curiosity and warmth. Let's get creative! Together, we will work to integrate your beliefs, strengths, and experiences as we uncover your goals and develop new skills. Our sessions will be practical and personal as we slowly explore who you are, who you are becoming, and the way that you connect to the people in your life and the world around you.
Getting started can be daunting. You don’t have to have it all figured out to take that first step. No experience is too small or too complex for meaningful transformation. If you would like to chat about what to expect from this therapeutic process or discuss some of your fears or hopes, please don’t hesitate to reach out for a consultation. I am accepting new clients at our Quarryville office.
In my free time, my dog and I enjoy very long walks and very long naps. I also love reading and dancing. Sadly, my dog does not enjoy reading or dancing with me...yet.
I accept Aetna, Capital Blue Cross, Highmark, and Luminare insurances, and also welcome self-pay clients.
